Being a qualified solicitor and having over 15 years experience of working with business’of all sizes from start ups right up to large public companies Jo has both the knowledge and practical experience to advise her clients not only on employment law related issues but with confidence on all issues surrounding employment from HR, effective management, staff training, recruitment and of course staff retention.

In 2014 Jo opened her own legal practice offering legal advice on employment commercial and corporate areas of law to business’s and individuals. It soon became apparent that the legal market was changing and employment law in particular was a fast emerging consultancy market. Business’ no longer wanted a lawyer on hourly rates advising them of their employment related matters – they wanted accessibility, practical day to day advice and support and most importantly they wanted it at a reasonable cost. Out of that came Boss HR, a practical offering to business’ of all shapes and sizes at a truly affordable cost. It is a business which is proactive allowing her to ensure clients afford those employment pitfalls by being prepared and protected from the day the business starts.

Jo feels that having run her own business she is able to understand the day to day pressures that employers are up against and can work with clients to ease that burden by offering a single source solution on all HR and employment law issues. Jo is passionate about business and believes that the key to a thriving company is happy employee relationships.
